August Events in Orange County to Embrace Summer

As we enter August, summer is both in full swing and approaching its end, and that gives us all the more reason to go out and celebrate all that Orange County has to offer during this beautiful season.

We have rounded up some of the most notable events happening in August that are the perfect way to soak up the last bits of summer.

Pageant of the Masters
When: Daily through August 31st
Laguna Beach’s Festival of the Arts is an open-air gallery setting which features 140 of the top artists in Orange County, as well as a nightly production. Visitors of the gallery can take tours of the exhibit, catch an art demonstration, and dine at one of the on-site restaurants – they even have daily art classes for kids!

Each evening at 8:30 pm, art comes to life in a starlit amphitheater. This year’s theme is “The Time Machine” where audiences are transported around the globe in search of great art and amazing stories.

Hyatt Regency Summer Concert Series
When: August 23rd
The Back Bay Amphitheater, located inside the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach, hosts the Summer Concert Series on select days through October. An intimate venue, the amphitheater allows fans to get up-close and personal with their favorite artists.

This year they are welcoming Kenny G to the stage as their only August concert.

Pacific Wine & Food Classic
When: August 17th-18th
Recently named on of USA Today’s 10 Best Food Festivals in the nation for 2019, Pacific Wine & Food Classic invites guests to celebrate the season with summer-inspired bites from the region’s top chefs with exquisite wine pairings in the picturesque seaside atmosphere provided by Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort

Sunset Jazz at Newport
When: Wednesday nights through September 18th
Taking place at the Rose Garden of the Newport Beach Marriot, the 10th Anniversary of Sunset Jazz at Newport is the perfect combination of a summer evening and ocean views with table service offering wine & food selections together with world-class jazz artists, all in an intimate setting.
