Premiering Tomorrow: The 19th Annual Newport Beach Film Festival

The 19th Annual Newport Beach Film Festival starts tomorrow! The 8-day event runs from Thursday, April 26th through Thursday, May 3rd, beginning with a screening of the first film of the event, American Animals, followed by the Opening Night Gala. The festival will spotlight over 300 extraordinary films from 50 countries and will feature nightly galas, exquisite cuisine, and film industry events.

Founded in 1999, the Newport Beach Film Festival has evolved into a prestigious multicultural event, attracting over 55,000 attendees to Orange County. Screening over 350 films in 8 days, the organization prides itself on bringing the best in new, local, and critically acclaimed cinema to Newport Beach.

Since its inception, the festival has presented many acclaimed films such as the U.S. premiere of Crash and other notable films, including (500) Days of Summer, Waitress, The King of Kong, The Illusionist, and Castle in the Sky.

The Newport Beach Film Festival seeks to bring to Orange County the best of classic and contemporary filmmaking from around the world.
