VILLA WELCOMES NEWPORT BEACH TEAM, THE GIRLINGS.

Villa Real Estate is honored to welcome industry veterans, Dave and Bing Girling to our growing team of professionals in coastal Orange County.

Dave Girling brings over 30 years of financial services industry knowledge and experience to his current role as a Realtor in Newport Beach, forming Girling Real Estate Investment Group (Girling REIG) with his father in 2008. His background, combined with his experience as a real estate investor, has prepared Dave for his current role as a Realtor with Girling REIG. Dave is teamed with his father Bing who has been selling real estate in Newport Beach for almost 30 years. In addition to his real estate investment experience, Dave has held a variety of senior executive positions in a wide array of disciplines in mortgage origination, mortgage technology and real estate finance.

Dave is President of the Newport Beach Association of Realtors ("NBAOR"), following in his father’s footsteps who was President of the Association in 2001. Dave was named Realtor of the Year in 2010 and completed three terms as Chairman of the Government and Political Affairs (GPA) Committee, serving from 2010 through 2012.

Dave has also been a Commissioner for the Newport Beach Harbor Commission since 2012. ??Dave holds an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration. ??

Dave has been rowing on indoor rowers for over 12 years, and was an Indoor Rowing Instructor for Equinox Sports Club in Irvine. He currently serves on the Board of the Newport Aquatic Center.

Bing Girling has been a successful Realtor focusing on Balboa Island for over 30 years. He was President of the Newport Beach Association (“NBAOR”) of Realtors in 2001, following in his own father’s footsteps who had been President of his local real estate association in Sharon, CT. Bing was named Realtor of the Year of the Association in 1996.

??Bing was also the chairman of both the Government and Political Affairs Committee for NBAOR and the Aviation Task Force. He is a past president and a current member of the Board of Directors of the Balboa Island Homeowners Association, and was chosen Balboa Island’s Volunteer of the Year in 1997.

??Bing moved to Balboa Island with his family in 1979 after a distinguished career as a pilot in the United States Air Force. “I became a Realtor because I wanted a second career that would allow me to become part of my community and still give me time to be with my family”. His personal experiences with numerous family relocations while in the military provide him with an understanding of the issues and concerns that face people when buying or selling a home. ??

Bing and Vickie, his wife of 58 years, have a son Dave and a daughter Doe. Bing is an avid softball player and participates in two different leagues throughout the local area.
